Be SAFE
Hostile Environment Awareness Training
Implemented by Fondazione SAFE in partnership with the Italian Armed Forces, the Be SAFE HEAT course will enable participants to practice and rehearse in a variety of immersive, real-life scenario-based exercises rolled out according to the EU ENTRi standards.
Since July 2021 SAFE is a member of the European Security and Defence College and it is one of the two European partners for the delivery of HEAT courses for the CSDP missions personnel of the European Union

SPECIAL FORCES OPERATORS
We are the only implementers counting on a formal agreement with the Italian Armed Forces for the engagement of military special forces as trainiers of HEAT training for private sector, NGOs and media professionals.
EU STANDARDS
Strictly rolled out based on the EU ENTRi standards, thus ensuring the use of certified training material, case studies, and real-life scenarios.
NEW MODULE ON CBRNe
Crafted in collaboration with experts and collaborators from Tor Vergata University – CBRNe International master’s course – through Associazione HESAR, in light of the challenges posed by non-conventional threats.
Target Audience
Civilian personnel of NGOs, private companies, international organisations, European institutions, media , as well as consultants and experts working in international development, are eligible and therefore encouraged to apply.
